<p>Rigid Hitch Class III/IV hitches have a Weight Carrying (WC) rating, and may also have a Weight Distributing (WD) rating, depending on the vehicle and hitch specifications. Not all Class III/IV hitches are rated to do both. Please see the "Specifications" for the Weight Carrying and Weight Distributing (if applicable) ratings for this hitch.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In order to use a hitch to its maximum weight carrying capacity, a ball mount and hitch ball of the same rating or higher is required. To use the weight distributing capacity of the hitch, a weight distribution hitch system is required. All of these items are sold separately. Class III hitches attach primarily to the vehicle frame. Other ball mounts of various rise and drop are available for separate purchase.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Trailer Hitch Ball is not included.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Also, a custom trailer light connection harness is included for your vehicle. Simply locate your vehicle's wiring harness connector, unplug the connection and insert the T-Connector into the vehicle's harness. Many modesl require a separate power circuit to be run from the vehicle's battery to the T-Connector to supply power to the built-in powered converter.
